Almost half a month ago, I started working on a demake of one of my favorite Tetris fan games. Currently is still very incomplete, (more than what Hommie VS. was when I joined Mastodon), but so far everything is progressing very well.

Update: My run'n'gun boss rush game is finally complete. I plan to release it on itch.io and on the Lexaloffe BBS. However, it will take some days until I finish all the preparations for the itch page.

I will post the links for the game once everything is done (hopefully very soon).

On the pause menu, I added a option which converts the shot button into a autofire switch. This accesibility option is also useful while playing on a phone.

I'm close to the finishing line. Can't await to share it with everyone.

Here is a small showcase of Trial mode, where you fight a single boss over and over with increasing difficulty. Perfect for quick gameplay sessions.

I updated the general UI to include the boss health bar on the top of the screen, and the bubble energy meter on the bottom. The platforms also got a new redesign.

Played on Normal mode against the third boss.

If there are too many bullets on screen, you can summon a bubble to stop them. You can also cancel them if you close the bubble.
Just make sure to don't run out energy.
