@ikol I felt the same regarding Hereditary vs Midsommar. But Midsommar was disturbing on a whole other level!

@ikol there are seven Elm Street movies, not including Freddy Vs Jason. Number 7 was a meta-horror called New Nightmare.
Get Out was great. More recent fantastic ones include Hereditary, Last Night in Soho, Barbarian, The Night House. I recommend all of those! Nope was good too!

@ikol great choices! For Elm Street, 1, 3 and New Nightmare are the best. 4 has its charms. 6 is dreadful, 5 is okay and 2 introduces a male Scream Queen and is essentially a whole metaphor for closeted homosexuality so if you watch it under that lens you may get more from it. The Thing is one of my favourites!
