Spotify cares about Spotify. Period. End of story.
No, I’m not advocating any sort of boycott, as a large number of podcast listening takes place on Spotify. If your show's not there, they won't hear it. So I don't recommend taking that drastic action.
But I am suggesting you be very cautious about doing more than adding your show to their directory. And video #podcasting? Forget it. Here's why:

I see that I don't have the RSS icon on my blog. I have to talk with my web contact who has helped me with the set up of the template, adding plugins, etc. I also need to change the color for the hyperlinks, and find a process for creating featured impages for the blog posts.
