Happy #AscensionDay, everyone. My childhood minister used to say that the secular world had it backwards: to them, Christmas is a huge celebration, followed by Easter, but they don't really bother with Ascension Day.

In actuality, though, he believed that Ascension Day is hands-down the most important observance on the Christian calendar, followed by Easter, and then only Christmas. :-)
