What is a Zap?

A Zap is a Bitcoin tip you can send directly to another user on our platform, inspired by Nostr. Instead of just liking a post, you can instantly reward the creator with real money, with no middlemen, no platform fees, and no delays. It goes straight from you to them.

We’ve also resolved an earlier issue where received Zaps weren’t visible on posts, so everything is now working smoothly.
