I used to hike (& sometimes get lost) in a 970sq mile forest filled with wild boar, which are very dangerous. I once had an accident in there, snapped the tendons in my leg, and had to limp my way out in the dark. 6 weeks in a leg brace. But that's another story.

@stux an explanation for this can be because the shift of the center towards the right making what was once the centre to be the left. Mastodon is normal for people who have joined social media in the form of mastodon as they are not exposed to the "normal" of otherplatforms.
Austin Kocher, PhD 🌎I remain genuinely and pleasantly shocked that in the course of 10 days or so, we all just went, “no way, eff this, we’re going to @Mastodon”, and now we’re just here and people are so nice and writing alt-text in their images and sharing great stuff and using content warnings and everything. Obviously none of this would have been possible without years of work by #Fediverse / #ActivityHub devs that came before. Even so, this is really something, no? 😃
