I'm an enthusiastic software developer. My hobbies include playing games in the geekiest way imaginable (I mean, analyzing mechanics every single frame), playing the piano and putting artificial intelligence to the test.
I am a co-founder of @sonorous_arts #gameDev, #coding, #gameing, #sonorousArts

At Sonorous Arts, work continues on our new titles. However, due to the situation in our country, we have to work remotely from home, which as expected, slows down the pace.
Our new additions for Marvel Realm are quite different than what we had so far. As we had expected, there was a near-complete internet blackout for about three days and during that time we were not able to respond to our users on any of the platforms we're active on, including our website.
Hopefully this situation will resolve soon. All of us at Sonorous Arts wish for peace for everyone and harmony between all people.

Today at Sonorous Arts, we've added full support for game controllers and mouse for our latest release, "Color Cannonade" on Marvel Realm. The up-to-date version of "Color Cannonade" is ready to be played, freely by everyone. Head to Sonorous Arts, grab Marvel Realm and have fun! (URL at the bottom of this post).
Additionally, we've been going through the feedback we received on our platform, audio games forum and other social media.

@TheQuinbox I did check that out and at the time where it was getting a good hype around the internet, it did seem quite promising. I downloaded the compiler, even checked out some of its codebase to see how things are done. But unfortunately it didn't quite make it to the mainstream in the timeline I hoped it would. It's kind of expected though as it is quite tied to LLVM releases. All in all we'll have to wait and see what will eventually come out of it. But until then I don't wanna busy myself with it.
@TheQuinbox I, like many more, do not feel comfortable at all with the syntax, plus the unnecessary complications regarding how things work. It basically overrides standards and defines its own, that's how it feels like to me. Besides all of this, I prefer the complete control that C/C++ give me.
@TheQuinbox I seriously do not like Rust like at all, but I do have to agree with that. Cargo is just awesome.
Have a listen to Another Irish Drinking Song released on my birth year by Da Vinci's Notebook. It's fun and thus, awesome:

The basis of art is satisfying the needs for perfection, happiness, learning and finding beauty. All of these are imbued in the human nature. This makes one believe once more in the fact that game design/game development is truly an art, as it provides the players with most of the mentioned needs, if not all of them at times. And this in turn, makes playing games almost as good as enjoying the commonly considered forms of art such as paintings, music and architecture, as the gain is usually the same (The mentioned needs that the basis of art tries to satisfy).

@lexipic You may take a look at OBS Studio. It's more complicated to operate compared to virtual recorder, but gives you lots of control. One of them being you can choose which microphone you want to record your voice with, whether you want to record the sound of your computer and which output device you want it to be recorded from. It also does video capturing and that includes your computer's screen. It gives you video output, you then have to convert it to audio. You can also use a combination of Cockos REAPER and Virtual Audio Cable, or if you have a stereo mix use that instead of Virtual Audio Cable. You might wanna look these up on google for more info. Good luck.
@mckensie Being blind doesn't help with that at all either. In my own personal experience I learned that managing my caffeine levels during the day kind of helped with my sleep, so like I try to get my caffeine intake somewhere around 2-3 PM and not go later than that (but I haven't been very successful at that recently, either).
There's a concept in #sociology called "Self-fulfilling Prophecy", which is when a belief, causes actions that eventually make it become true regardless of whether this belief was true in the firstplace. It's a sharp nudge to the ribs of overthinkers like myself, who spend a good deal of our time mulling over something, coming to all kinds of conclusions for it and then choosing the most negative ones and make a very vivid picture of how everything will be coming together to lead to that conclusion. And in my personal experience, sometimes, though in reality it seemed unlikely, what I was predicting became true; No, it wasn't because I was making the right prediction, it was because what I believed wrongly, caused me to do things in the exact way that would lead to that negative result (for example stressing out myself over my own assumptions so much so that even though if I would be able to do something perfectly well in normal circumstances, I'd mess it up instead and in the worst way possible - just as I wrongly predicted I would).
