Mitchell’s Fod, Stapeley Hill. There was an axe factory near here at Cwm Mawr, with the axes traded into England and Wales
Racing towards the end of my edits and it feels like a mashup between Bridgerton and SAS Rogue Heroes (one day I pray I’ll learn how to write something easy to sell)
Oooh, I'm starting to get that 'plaiting' feeling again, combing out a tangle, pulling together different strands of the story, weaving them into a pattern that makes sense. So satisfying!

Today's writing plan will take me across 4 WIPs to:
❤️ Regency London with an earl and a captain (Light Dragoon)
❤️Xoros a planet in a nearby solar system with Earth's first off-world ambassador
❤️ The fae home world with a grumpy vampire....
❤️ Modern Crofton Hall for Christmas shenanigans with mistletoe ;)

I love playing in all the different sub-genres of MM ... never managed that stay in your lane business LOL!

I don't want to just be posting about numbers like a clock, but the 2 million mark of monthly active users across the network is a pretty big deal. This is going big numbers! Shout out to all the server operators who are absorbing this wave.
Figured I should move to a more #genealogy centred instance and free up general ones for more members! So, in light of that I'll have to introduce myself again as all of my posts are gone. So hello everyone, I'm Daniel. I'm the creator of @projectinfant, one of three co-founders of The Hidden Branch and a young genealogist working to help young genealogists and improve #genealogy as a whole. Nice to see you all over here!

On a clear night in Kinlochleven in November, the Milky Way is visible down the loch. This shot took several attempts as the high road to the village runs to the left of this image. A 30 second exposure meant it took a bit of good timing to avoid light trails from the few cars which did venture down that night. This image was taken next to the slipway area in Kinlochleven.

So I was advised that the best way to say hi on Mastodon was to introduce yourself.

My name is Clara. I am an MA Public Histories student living in London and interested in working in the museums and heritage sector (currently working on that career change!).

I love Scifi, especially Star Trek, photography, fiction, film, TV, books, cats, embroidery, history, podcasts and so many more things!

I have way too many hobbies and I host my own podcast called The Tales We Tell, about women and gender in film, TV and fiction. I post a lot on Instagram and love taking photos.

I have found 2022 a bit of a lonely year after the pandemic and I would love to make some new friends online. I do feel sad about the demise of Twitter because I met some lovely historians and Trekkies over there, but hey! Onwards and upwards I guess!
