@W6KME Huh! Wow, good find. I mean it seemed friendly, but my search skills failed me. Thanks!!

Potentially dumb CW question - I'm hearing a POTA station send 44 at the sign off, like:

RR TU 44 73 E E

What does that mean?

@ian I have ~7, with six of those being riiiight at 20 mi. Sounds like a good problem to have!
@N3VEM Language and the history of language is super interesting. Thanks for sharing!
@W6KME very sorry to hear that :(
@g0syp Up in the same region now, it seems to match the footprint of RTTY-75W in fldigi, but the decode looks like nonsense. Not sure if it's a non-standard baud rate, my audio settings, or maybe just encrypted since it's outside the (US at least) band.
@g0syp interesting - I didn't see anything but will keep an eye out if it pops up again.
Anybody have idea what this modulation is? 10.1547, sounds like garbled CW.
When waiting to jump into a pileup, and someone tunes up over the caller, does anyone else wait a while to jump in for fear of being confused for the rude tuner?
@W6KME I'm virtually all Linux at home and have been for decades at this point, but at work we're very much embedded in the MS ecosystem.
