This is the Partal Palace in the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. It is not only the oldest building in the complex, built in the early 14th century, but also the most enchanting in my opinion 🙂
Whereas the other palaces and the Generalife gardens in the Alhambra are quite crowded, the Partal gardens with this palace is pretty quiet, especially in the late afternoon. There are thousands of roses around, and if you walk along the arches in the back, you'll have a beautiful view on the oldes district of Granada, the Albaicín.

A sequoia tree at the californian coast in 2018. We just came across a major wildfire in the Yosemite National Park and some other burning trees back then. Together with the fires from 2017, they formed the start of the fires due to climate crisis. I wonder how many of these trees we saw are left and how many of them will outlast.
