The sky was looking ominous so I asked Siri, “Surely, it’s not going to rain today, is it?”

That was when I realised I’d left my phone in Airplane mode.
A heart transplant recipient was arrested after a dispute with a neighbor over WiFi. Jail officials refused to let him take his transplant medication for two days. He’d waited 12 years for a heart. His body rejected the heart, and he died.

The office was closed today for snow.
We got no snow.
But, I spent the whole day doing music things (smuling, playing guitar, practicing for chorus) and it has been SO LONG since I have done those things. I missed it. 🩷 It was a pretty good day.
I've been a bit quiet - have taken up a new hobby, that has been keeping me off the internet! 😜
@lolennui when they're ready, they're going to want to talk about it. A lot. For a long time. At some point, you may think, this again? But keep listening. Talking it out will help them.
And then, when they are ready, they are going to want to laugh and have fun, but they won't have the brain power to plan anything. Suggest an activity - game night, comedy show, live music - and if they say yes, take care of everything so all they have to do is show up and experience a little joy. 💜
