"Don't Become the Machine. Instead, aim to be nimble. Adapt quick. Define your goal but don't let it become your purpose. Your purpose is sacred; only you truly understand it. Do what you need to do in order to achieve your goals.

Don't optimize for sweat. Try to find the most rewarding solution. You're not a machine. You're a person. Play to your strengths. Be sharp and strategic like a scalpel, not blunt like a mallet. Stop fetishizing the grind. Dream bigger."

As any good gardener knows, healthy growth requires a harmonious ecology. Mycelium survived 700 million years by learning to symbiotically integrate with its neighbors. To become that of which overabundant vitality overflows is an authentic act of transcendence.
Lookin' to take on new engineering and research challenges? Perhaps you want to be first-to-market by using agentic AI in ways no one else has imagined possible? I'm a persistent R&D project leader powered by diverse tech experience that's now looking for a new adventure!

Almost everyday I think about this quote as I read the morning news on what fresh hellscape has opened.

One of the books I revisit every year is Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg (a Michigander prison psychologist).

Beyond the title, the book is a pragmatic guide for how to foster meaningful conversations. It's so good that it's a new required reading at Microsoft.

Oh I'm now exploring new local R&D tech related projects btw! Share around to anyone who may be looking for an oldie 20yr polygot engineer, product manager, and unabashed team cheerleader. Bonus if it involves AI applied in novel ways to new domains.

One thing that is really lacking from AI art is 'creative weirdness'. This old D&D book illustration as an example is so creatively imperfect that I can immediately tell it's human made.
When someone is stuck in the samsara cycle while I'm just here touching grass and offering to share this small moment of bliss together...
