Anytime I have coffee the effect is always the same. After about 5hrs I get severe anhedonia (inability to feel pleasure). I've tried everything from B supplements to taking Dopa precursors. I just call it quits because it makes me feel like my afternoon is in grayscale. Just FYI if it helps anyone else...
@YaLTeR congrats! I haven't yet tried Niri/DMS as I've only ever used KDE... but I'm curious to give it a go.

Becoming the Machine

I was recently recommended a YouTube video with the following title: <pre style=" display: block; font-family: monospace; font-size: 4px; l...

Armeet Singh Jatyani

"Don't Become the Machine. Instead, aim to be nimble. Adapt quick. Define your goal but don't let it become your purpose. Your purpose is sacred; only you truly understand it. Do what you need to do in order to achieve your goals.

Don't optimize for sweat. Try to find the most rewarding solution. You're not a machine. You're a person. Play to your strengths. Be sharp and strategic like a scalpel, not blunt like a mallet. Stop fetishizing the grind. Dream bigger."

@zspencer @Vaguery I very much dig the spirit! Have any tips for first starting a co-op? Like, is it normal for every person to first chip in their share investment to bootstrap the org tooling and infrastructure to start? I'm sorta at a loss for the logistics of pragmatically starting one.
@zspencer @Vaguery isn't that the truth. What are some of the things you felt you learned in the experience? Pros/cons?
@Moss @Anneheathen thank you sir Moss Wizard. How has your personal experience been with working at co-ops? Any favorite aspects and problematic elements?
@Vaguery thank you! I'll look into them! How do you know about them? Have any insights on these kind of software co-ops?
