Have struggled a lot this past 6 months with a lot of stuff at home. Coming back to simply say that Lower Decks S4 is incredible.

How has this show that I was so pessimistic of when announced now become maybe my favourite Trek??

Immediate Mando reflections:

Bo Katan absolutely deserves to be ruler of Mandalore and I'm 100% in on this season being about her doing that

Mando didn't want the dark saber, and also can't be tied down to being ruler for plot reasons and his inevitable role going forward in the Filoni-verse

Yes this was a whacky, dumb episode but Star Wars is full of that. It also showed Din realising Bo was a true leader - hence him relinquishing the dark saber

I'm also glad Moff Gideon is still out and about. He was too cool a villain to get arrested and be done with it

So I finished that Halo show. I'm glad it exists and glad I spent the time to watch it even if some of the jumps at the end were a bit mad.

Can see why a lot of fans didn't like it as well, but I'm glad it tried to be it's own thing. It also only made me want to play Halo more so there's that 😅

Finished THE SPARE MAN by @maryrobinette

Murder mystery on a space cruise ship - what's not to like?? Can always trust her writing to deal with mental health and trauma sensitively and in a way that shows the characters living with and overcoming daily.

Feel like the journey back would make a great sequel 👀👀
