How I built Timeframe, our family e-paper dashboard - Joel Hawksley

Over the past decade, I've worked to build the perfect family dashboard system for our home, called Timeframe:

I've made several things I like this year, but this is probably my favorite.
@hotdogsladies I think it may be intended for someone else to know if you are in or not home. Presumably if you live somewhere big enough that it isn’t obvious.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Every morning I'd carry our newborn half a block up the hill, and I'd point west and say:

"That's the Pacific Ocean. It's the largest body of water in the world, and you can see it from where you live. And if you can learn to manage projects and put up with some bullshit, you can do almost anything you really want to do."

Then, we'd walk home.

In honor of Robert Redford, everyone is obligated to watch Sneakers tonight.
