@w7voa It's a corporate hit piece, nothing more. WaPo is notorious for this type of crap. It's equivalent to saying we should all avoid email, because loads of paedophiles use it. This is a decentralised platform with an open protocol, so of course there's going to be nefarious characters implementing it. There's nothing we can do to prevent that - especially not if they're operating from jurisdictions (in this case Japan) in which their activities are legal.

What we can do is defederate from problem instances, which is why none of us in this thread have seen any child porn on the fedi.

The #Yes23 flyer explains the #Referendum is about:

1. Recognising #Indigenous #Australians in the Constitution

2. Listening to them through the Voice - a committee of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who can give advice to Parliament.
