I really wish Apple would allow me (Android user) to mark my wife's Airtags as safe and not keep notifying me that I'm being followed. Better yet, just make them work on Android!
@accudio I had something similar when I had an MRI last year. I should've picked a classical radio station but instead I had to somehow stay still during this https://youtu.be/WSh7U3m9KgA

@sarajw That's one of the most annoying things, it can be helpful but you never know when it's going to lead you up the garden path.

@sarajw That matches my experiences too, I always ask for references now if it doesn't provide them as it often makes stuff up.

I've found it's better at debugging JS though, not so much anything visual rendered in the browser. Still, it's sometimes a handy, but expensive, rubber duck to bounce ideas off.

@davatron5000 I landed on the same style query workaround when I wanted to redesign my site's theme switcher and realised that color-scheme and prefers-color-scheme behave differently. I can't be bothered to polyfill or complicate things with a fallback so I'm definitely in the "do nothing, wait it out" camp.
@tuomas_h It's remarkable how many everyday objects fit this description. I lived in a flat where the shower knobs were perfectly round and smooth, meaning turning it off was damn near impossible with wet hands.

London. Next week. The Astro core team, more than 100 Astro devs, and… you?

@sarajw If there isn't then there's still the "competition bag" of crisps.

I've taken so many of these pictures over the years 🤣

@sarajw I'm currently in Finland and there's a lot of things that make me snigger like a 12 year old, often the word for "bag"
Google's Circle to Search has just become incredibly useful to me. I've just been added to my wife's family group chat and, while imperfect, the screen translation lets me quickly understand the gist of the Finnish conversation. I'm not sure I could use a phone without this now.
