Experience is both the best teacher and also the worst enemy your brain can have. The Troxler Effect illustrates how not paying attention to things and events is not simply a sign of inherent foolishness, carelessness, or stupidity. We all are only human. Like it or not, wise or not, sometimes we do not do something we ought to do simply because we see no reason to do it.
I keep trying to understand why so many can't see Trump for what he is and MAGA for what it is. This fairy tale popped into my mind. They are just looking in the mirror, mirror . . .
