The idea that we "go up to Heaven" is a hard sell for me.
It seems far more like God wants Heaven to come down to Earth. "Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven."
"I saw the New Jerusalem descending to Earth."

What non-mainstream Christian music (By Christians, not necessarily worship music) have you been listening to?
I'm enjoying Gray Havens and The Oh Hellos.
I do enjoy a lot secular music as well, but I'll admit it's refreshing to listen to someone who shares a similar story.
Since it's Veterans' Day, and we're a young community, I thought I'd ask if any of us are veterans?
My brother and his wife were both Air Force.

My name's Jason and I've dedicated the last decade of my life to ministry in the church, only to be essentially forced out when I started asking questions about complementarianism (which I've decided is basically just patriarchy, and not biblically mandated).
Still love Jesus, but my wife and I feel like the church has muddled our minds about what "Christian life" should look like.
Proud dad of a 5 year old and an 18 month old, both boys.
