Really enjoyed the last snowy walk before starting back at work tomorrow even though we got wet feet going into snowdrifts at the side of the roads!
Found some gorse in flower on today's walk for #NewYearPlantHunt and #WildflowerKO2026.
Nothing else today, though there was a good layer of fresh snow covering the ground, so more flowers could have been hiding beneath!

I haven't seen many daisies or other #wildflowers around recently and thought I would struggle to find a flowering one in #December to complete my #YearOfDaisy.
Set off for a walk to stretch the legs, get some air, look at the world in general and for daisies in particular. Chuffed to find a few poking their bedraggled, soggy heads out into the morning air. Celebrated with coffee and cake later😊
October and November entries for #YearOfDaisy. Been tricky these last two months so was really pleased to find these two. Just one more month to go to complete the set!
I've not seen quite as many daisies around this month so I was pleased to spot these today for September's entry for #YearOfDaisy. Nice to find them on a Sunday for #WildFlowerHour too!
