New life to an old Icom IC-735 that had been set aside for more than a year due to its broken VFO.
I found the photodiodes worn out and obviously the spare parts no longer exists. Some mods found somewhere on the web improved the issue but did not solve it, VFO still was jumping randomly. So I remembered a TRXbenc youtube video where he solved this issue using a modern encoder. That solution [-->]
