Pay what you can emergency contraception prescriptions!

Spent the better part of yesterday exploring this little know gem of a spot in #newmexico. Covered by a rock outcropping, the first use of this space by colonizers dates back to the 1700s. Supposedly, colonizers celebrated mass here until the early 1800s when they built a church nearby. There is a natural spring at the site and the water is purportedly healing. Not sure about shrine etiquette, but I washed my face with the water to hedge my bets. #history

Many people and clinicians know of aid in dying (formerly referred to as death with dignity) as an idea but know little about the procedure.

It is a powdered combination of digoxin 100mg, diazepam 1,000mg, morphine 15,000mg, amitriptyline 8,000mg, & phenobarbital 5,000mg that comes in a small bottle.

It is mixed with 2oz of apple juice and can be self-administered orally or rectally. It causes unconsciousness within 10 minutes and for most people death within 2 hours. #MedMastodon #nursing

Truly marvelous (and physically exhausting) day traipsing about with snowshoes near Sandia Crest. I swear if the crest were a national park it would get millions of visitors a year. And for that reason I am so glad it is not. #NewMexico
