Look what I found on my walk to the protests on Saturday!
This is an entry in the “Game of Shrooms Global Art Scavenger Hunt,” a cool initiative from artists working in different mediums who hide their art and those who find, can keep.
At the website you can see map pins of the locations where art is hidden. This year’s theme is fungi.
The artist is Sarah Suponski who works with stained glass and who I contacted at her Etsy shop to let her know I found it.
Someone told me to be calm today. Ever had a moment when an ordinary phrase strikes you like a god-hammer? Cracked me like a bell.
I started chuckling and then full-on laughing maniacally at the idea of being calm. Realizing that I was, in fact, a long way from calm, and my inappropriate laughter was further evidence of it 😂 The confusion on the poor speaker's face was nearly gratifying.
Fuck it then, if the times call for madness then madness it is.
I find myself self-censoring some things lately because I'm concerned my actions will affect someone I care about who is needing to pass through the immigration system.
So frustrating . Frustrating because it makes me feel like a coward. Frustrating because the potential consequences are all too real.

Thinking about agentic #AI one thing that comes up is loyalty. These things are worse than search histories, worse than diaries, they encode our whole thought processes.
Some sort of enforced loyalty, legal protections, or other mechanism will be a precursor for REALLY useful AI agents.
