What's it with people reporting every single person they dont like..  

Please, stop with that.

This is not #Twitter. Please use features like mute or block if you don't like people but stop reporting otherwise I'll start banning people who keep reporting for nothing  

I'm trying to keep things running with so many new people and it's such a waste of time to hear whatever you don't like

Otherwise go waste Elon's time, not mine

People grumbling that #Mastodon is slow at the moment... You just turned up with 1 million people in a tiny, rural village and you're complaining there's a queue to get into the only tearoom, which is run by gay pensioners Babs & Maureen as a retirement hobby on Mons-Weds. Relax!

It's pretty refreshing to have a timeline worth reading, line by line. Makes me realise that every 5th post in the #OtherPlace was an ad, and how passive-aggressive Quote Tweeting often was.

Can't quite bring myself to deactivate my #birdsite account yet - it feels a bit like Christmas Eve

I love it that my home timeline is filled with boosts of posts by ordinary people, not 75% celebs, and posts that have been boosted once are equal to the ones with 100 boosts. Suck it, algorithm.
