Husband, father, and hobbyist. Nighthaunt, Soulblight, Ad Mech, Blood Angels as well as others. Snails could paint faster but thankfully they can't hold a brush.

Birthday today! Family surprised me yesterday with an early birthday present. Wonderful surprise and truly grateful. Looking forward to get gaming again for the first time in over a decade. All this topped off by new #Epic40k and #AOS Cities of Sigmar and Cerastus Knights. Meant yesterday was a top day. Today will be mostly spent relaxing and napping! #NintendoSwitch #WarhammerCommunity

The character of all the #Mordheim Miniatures is just timeless. At 20+ years old you’d think they’d look a bit dated, not for me. I can scarcely think of a mini in the range that doesn’t still look great (I’m sure the internet can prove me wrong 😂😂).

Old paint job, one I’m still really happy with. Metal is maybe the only every attempt at NMM I’ve done that doesn’t look rubbish and liked how his trousers turned out.

Fallen out the habit of posting on here since the cross poster stopped working so time to correct that I think. Here is a banner I finished last night for my #SlavesToDarkness. I've not done freehand for close to 17 years so very pleased with how this turned out. #WarhammerCommunity #AOS
@DrH I tend to use water, more out of ease of access than anything. Just bought a bunch of silicone sculpting tools and some acrylic sheets as well as read they are helpful as a working surface. Just need to drum up the courage to get stuck in now.
@DrH that looks great. Mainly looking at adding lots of detail work and reshaping armour plates to getting these looking more like Sanguinor armour. Going off what you say thinking GS may be my best bet.
@DrH great that's really helpful, thank you
OK #WarhammerCommunity. What's the go to for sculpting? Greenstuff or milliput? Pros/cons or are they much the same? #kitbash #warhammer40k

#hobbystreak days 26-29

More work on the Chaos Chosen. Last few details to do then waiting on Barak-Nar Burgundy to arrive so I can do the cloth (Web only paint, who knew!). In the mean time built another 4 ready to be primed and started. #AOS #WarhammerCommunity

#hobbystreak days 21 to 24.

My hobby butterfly is showing and been tempted by whisperings of the dark gods. Armiger parked and a shiny Chaos Chosen has taken its place on the paint station. #AOS #WarhammerCommunity #wipwednesday

#hobbystreak day 19 was all about catching up on WH+ and the amazing Origins series. Very dark stuff but Ad Mech are awesome and now I want to be able to take Kataphrons with assault cannons! Day 20 will mostly be spent flicking through new WD and maybe some more painting later
