@Mre I have cared for many veterans from the world wars. The one thing I did notice is that even though many of they saw action none ever spoke of any lives they had taken let alone a number. From what I know it’s not a done thing. I have nothing against him telling his story but has for the truth & his truth that’s in the eye or ear of the beholder. There is always 3 sides to a story. The sides of those telling the story & then the facts. We will never know the true facts.
