Just a millennial trying to survive all of the 2020's

I'm working toward my goal of being a book narrator. Progress is slow but I will get there.

In the mean time I make simple digital art, I read a lot, mostly fantasy, and I game, mostly cozy types. (Skyrim is cozy, fight me.)

This is starting to get some coverage but not enough.
Its horrifying what is happening to our trans and non binary folxs in this country.
Nex was just a kid. They deserved to grow up and rhetoric and hate stole that from them.

So Im here and all over the internet trying raise some money to make sure my mom doesn't become homless in the middle of winter. Shes almost 70 and has health issues (obviously as shes on SSI) not that these sick corporations care.

They are probably going to make many people homeless in the next two months and because we cant afford to fight back they will get away with it.

Please help if you. If nothing else please share this link. Im scared and desperate.

All in the name of greed.

She is working with HUD to get moved but as with all government programs it takes time. So she may still be there come the 1st. We have a plan to get her share of the INSANE rent hike paid but after January we aren't sure what to do.

Even with that there is still the cost of moving and deposit on a new place.

Shes on SSI and if you didn't know that has a cap on how much money she can have in the bank at any one time.

I didn't post the orginal here last week but Ive got to try anywhere I can.

My mom is facing a really bad situation. Shes on SSI and a rent subsidies with HUD. The new management of her apartment has told her they will be DOUBLING her rent come January.

Wether this is legal or not doesnt matter. We dont have the money to higher a lawyer to fight it and local representatives can only do so much.

Its sick no matter what. They are going after all of her nighbors in the same situation.
