How to use AI responsibly:
(guidelines to try to live by)
1. Don't use AI unless it enhances your accessibility.
(using AI is theft and arson)
(accessibility is the only legitimate use case)
2. Don't share posts that used AI, other than by people using it for accessibility.
(You're legitimizing the theft and arson)
(No, posts critizising bad AI outputs are not any better)
3. Don't use anything produced by AI or containing AI (again same exception).
(companies will only stop putting AI into everything, when people stop using their products)
4. When refusing AI be critical but empathetic.
(tell people why using AI goes against human rights)
(but don't be judgemental)
(or they'll just get defensive and stubborn)
.
(similar guidelines apply to use of fossil fuels, plastic, cars, roads, animal products and anything else endangering rights and life on this planet - if you are privileged enough to be this radical)
