@unattributed the ones I keep coming back to are J Herbin Larmes de Cassis, Waterman Inspired blue, Sheaffer Skrip Peacock Blue, Diamine Soft Mint, Pure Pens Pendine Sands, Diamine Passion Red.
@unattributed I have a large variety, and truthfully it doesn't hurt to have a wider range, however I have reached the point where I have some inks I reach for again over trying something in my collection I've not yet used. I think part of the problem is that I only tend to have a few pens inked at once, and the fact that I nearly always keep at least one pen inked with my favourite colour ink. http://www.fpc.ink/users/92824
Currently wrapping presents for my red tier #fpsecretsanta it's surprising how much I can end up writing when I get into a flow explaining why I've chosen each #FountainPen to gift.
The absolute feeling of joy when you discover that the Christmas cards you took a gamble on, are in fact fountain pen friendly and the ink hasn't feathered at all in the slightest and instead shows off some wonderful shading. #FountainPens#Christmascards
Also wanted to highlight two of my favourite #FountainPens my Parker 51 that was gifted to me by my grandpa before he passed, and my Modern Fuel fountain pen I have attached to my work lanyard.
@timelordiroh perhaps it might be worth seeing if you can meet someone at a pen show etc that had one you can try. After all, there is no replacement for actually holding a pen to get a feel for it.
@timelordiroh I mainly got this one because of the ring top option and the fact that I could customise it by mixing and matching parts. Standard is all one material, with about 5 different options. coincidentally they are having a sale at the moment with 20% off.
Spent part of a lesson yesterday on #fountainpenday discussing with my students about my pen. Some were amazed that I hadn't thrown it away yet as its been on my lanyard since January. I explained that when it ran out, I just put more ink in it. #FountainPens
