On Tuesday, dozens of Israelis stormed Sde Teiman detention facility in southern Israel's Negev desert.
They gathered in response to the arrest of nine soldiers accused of raping a Palestinian prisoner. But rather than directing their anger at the soldiers suspected of the abuse, these far-right Israelis, who included MPs and a minister, were outraged that they had been arrested at all.

Lice, scabies, rashes plague Palestinian children in Gaza
Palestinians have no soap to wash themselves, their children or their clothes during the summer heat.
The World Health Organization has reported more than 160,00 cases of lice, scabies and skin rashes. At one hospital, doctors report hundreds of skin disease cases a day, including a steady stream of children, covered in spots, scabs, rashes and lesions that turn into worse infections.

The UN and independent human rights experts on Tuesday hailed the advisory opinion by the ICJ that described Israel's occupation of Palestine as "unlawful," urging Israel to comply with the ruling.
"The advisory opinion reaffirms peremptory norms prohibiting annexation, settlements, racial segregation and apartheid, and should be seen as [..] binding on Israel and all States supporting the occupation," the experts said.

The son of an Israeli diplomat charged with driving his motorcycle into an US police officer was told by a judge last week that he had fulfilled his plea agreement terms and was free to leave for Israel later the same evening.
Avraham Gil had told the court that was leaving the US to go and serve in the Israeli military, which is currently engaged in a genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and occupied West Bank.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) urged the Biden administration to address Israeli war crimes.
