An Israeli police officer is set to face disciplinary action after referring to National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir as a “convicted criminal.”

The report by Haaretz said police concluded in its investigation that describing Ben-Gvir as a “convicted criminal” constituted a “political statement,” despite his criminal record, including convictions for 13 offenses, among them “supporting a terrorist organization.”

Three Lebanese journalists were killed in a targeted Israeli strike in southern Lebanon on Saturday, their employers have said.

Ali Shoeib, a reporter for the Hezbollah-affiliated Al Manar TV, was killed in the town of Jezzine alongside reporter Fatima Ftouni and her brother, cameraman Mohamed Ftouni, both from the channel Al Mayadeen, according to the stations.

Iranian missile and drone retaliatory strikes targeted Prince Sultan Airbase in Saudi Arabia on 27 March, wounding at least 12 US troops and damaging aircraft and buildings, just hours after Israeli attacks hit Iranian nuclear facilities.

Over 230 children have been killed in the ongoing US‑Israeli offensive on Iran which began a month ago, Iran said on Saturday, Anadolu reports.

About 1,800 other children have been wounded, the Iranian Health Ministry said.

The entire region has been on alert since the US-Israeli offensive on Iran began on Feb. 28, so far killing over 1,340 people, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
