@JohnS_AZ I was looking at one of those. Decent mini sized radio.
I ended up getting 2 Radioddity QT60 Pro 10 meter AM/FM/SSB radios. Simple mod of clipping a wire loop and moving a pin (warranty voided) enables 10, 11 (cb freq) & 12 meter bands! One is installed in the Eurovan and the other is for my base station. I'm getting my Tech/General license by summer so these will be good entry level units.

Yes they were! We would walk through the tall hay and hundreds of them would be leaping all about. They were easy to catch. Then we would hold them and they would secrete gastric juices as a defense. It's brown and we called it "tobacco juice". 😆
@MLE_online My brother and I used to catch sooo many of those in the summer hay fields of northern NY. :)
