Wow. Interesting & spooky story here-
Thousands of smartphone applications in Apple <a href="https://www.reuters.com/companies/AAPL.O/"target="_blank">(AAPL.O)</a> and Google's <a href="https://www.reuters.com/companies/GOOGL.O/"target="_blank">(GOOGL.O)</a> online stores contain computer code developed by a technology company, Pushwoosh, that presents itself as based in the United States, but is actually Russian, Reuters has found.
Trump -- who probably has paid for more abortions than rallies -- being the guy who ended Roe made this clear. Everyone gets that no one really oppose abortions for the people they love or their mistresses.
Republicans just want to decide who gets punished for for a pregnancy.
So here's part of my logic: First, the crazies think they can take over.
There's no way the GOPers in the new swing seats will abide by that.
And any GOP majority will be really fragile, far more fragile than the Dems with the same majority.

“The ability of someone of unlimited wealth to pervert democracy by spending untold millions to skew elections is the entire reason why campaign finance reform is so important.” https://www.nytimes.com/2022/11/06/nyregion/ronald-lauder-zeldin-governor.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare
Mastodon habits I'm trying to lock in, rather than revert to my Twitter habits:
1) use CWs liberally
2) when threading, set first post to "public" and the rest to "not listed"
3) don't forget the description text when posting images (had to work on that in Twitter too)
4) throw in hashtags like it was Tumblr or Instagram when you want to reach beyond your followers
5) pin and visit hashtags to find more people
6) boost a lot
