Electrical Engineer. Hollow Knight, Zelda, and Deltarune fan. Here for vidya and general news. Maybe I’ll actually post sometime. I don’t actually know anything about websites.

A Pinky & Brain spin-off for grown ups that always starts with them sitting tired at coffee in the morning:

Pinky: "What are we going to do tonight?"
Brain: "Same thing we do every night. Try to go to bed early"

And then the whole episode is just about how stuff comes up and prevents them from going to bed early.

Grabbed this out of its case last week. A blast of nostalgia for a bit.
Not sure if #kBin just went down, got a 503 error
@jgayfer
kBin feels a lot more like an old forum style to me, and the magazines are cool. The only downside is it’s still restricted to browser and doesn’t feel fluid on mobile. I’m not 100% sure on Lemmy because I haven’t used it much but it feels like discord servers with Reddit threads (I might be wrong on that)
Pretty sure making a post without a tag and no followers is like shouting into the wind

I’ve found you can interact and make replies by looking up specific communities, but I haven’t figured out how to actually navigate them properly. I see replies to a bunch of different threads when I try.
@tracegallant
I assumed that it would be in the works. If it’s still fairly new I’m sure there’s a ton of work to be done before it’s ready for any sort of public test.
@sudokill
I’ve only gone foot deep into both, but the UI of Kbin felt much more familiar to me.
Kbin seems really awesome and reminds me of being on a forum in the earlier 2010s. Hopefully it can grow and get an app.

I have yet to really dig into Tears of the Kingdom, but I hope that it features some more classic 3D Zelda elements in addition to the normal breath of the wild gameplay. I miss dungeons and some more traditional storytelling that were in the prior games.
