The director’s 1950s-set semi-memoir brilliantly examines how we edit our own life stories, and the repercussions

@GrahamRKings Thank you for sharing that photograph.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Onesimus in 2017 during a visit to the Bible Society's library within Cambridge University Library. He is extremely helpful and we are grateful for his support of #MissionAssist and our work to digitise rare and fragile scriptures.

Scanning Bibles in Cambridge UK – MissionAssist

Until the global coronavirus pandemic, a team of MissionAssist volunteers regularly travelled to the Bible Society library to scan rare and fragile scriptures, located within the University Library in Cambridge UK. We are very grateful to have found alternative sources of images for now, including commercially produced scans paid for by a generous grant. If we can return to the University Library in the future, we will invite members living in the Cambridge area to reform the scanning team.

@GrahamRKings Oh, that is well written, and so on point!

@GrahamRKings Perhaps it would be better to tack this on *some* evangelicals than broadly blaming Evangelicals. Especially since the BECA has outright condemned the actions of the insurrectionists.

A Tale of Two Privileges: or, the Existential Choice for the Church of England | Fulcrum Anglican

Best of times and worst of times, eh? With such a Dickensian title, this article needs to make an obligatory (read: clichéd) reference to Charles’ great novel. The worst of times are obvious: a Church of England with a declining and aging faithful, a looming financial crisis for many a diocese, and a perpetual division
