Getting real sick of people acting like AI generated art happens without human input. The AI doesn’t decide what to make, a human still has to come up with an idea first.

A Court Shot Down a Computer Scientist's Latest Attempt to Copyright an A.I.-Created Artwork in a Case That Has Big Implications for A.I. Artists | Artnet News
Computer scientist Stephen Thaler has been rejected yet again in his quest to secure a copyright for AI-generated artwork.
Artnet NewsI’ve been re-listening to the
#GAM back catalog, and I can report that since episode 242, Ambushed! (The Dudley Dumpling classic) now has an IMDb page.
@piatpod@Marsh You misunderstand the premise. The premise is the dog and the neighbour are both drowning, the question requires that both are in peril to force the choice.
#dog #obviously #GAM My mendacious little Cass did her fake bark again, allowing her to usurp the spot right next to me in order to beg for some of my dinner. Did Dash fall for it? or did he make a calculated choice to go see if there was something there?
#artwiculate @artwiculateToday has been an abstemious kind of day, though not by choice.
#migraine #artwiculate @artwiculateMy dog, Cassiel, will engage in phenakism by barking at nothing in order to draw her adoptive brother’s attention. What’s strange about this is how Dash seems to willingly let himself be tricked sometimes, but ignores her at others.
#artwiculate @artwiculateMy dad has always been taciturn, but I’ve recently realised his love language is that sometimes, on a Friday, if he finishes work early and he goes to the bakery on the way home, he buys me an apple walnut scroll and leaves it in my kitchen for me to have when I wake up from my daily nap.
#lovelanguage #chronicfatigue #artwiculate @artwiculateSpeaking to one of those account holders, they described Mastodon as “being sold as too complicated”, which is incredibly frustrating. It seems that Mastodon’s big selling point has also been it’s greatest drawback. The emphasis on federation has amplified the “separate servers” in people’s minds as something that will affect them far more than it actually will (the effect on most users turns out to be “effectively none”).
What the h*ck’s a Hive, and why are people I want to follow going there instead of coming here, where I can follow them? I honestly hadn’t heard of Hive Social until today, and my anxiety is giving me problems about it because I only have enough social energy for one (1) avenue of interaction. I backed Mastodon, and advocated for it, and now I’m doubting myself.
