Bodhipaksa@snow You and anyone else not using alt text is excluding people with visual impairments from any images you post. You're making life harder for them, because they can't know in advance that your images are, in effect "blank." You're free to be that kind of person, but you don't have to be. You can be the kind of person who takes other people — especially those with disabilities — into account. It's your choice.
@nightoo No, I'm not saying that not adding alt text is an "active attack" on people with visual impairments. I'm saying that it's not taking them into account.
And I haven't put anyone down.
