I always found the #illusionaryTruthEffect stunning. If you are not familiar: Repeated statements receive higher truth ratings than new statements. The fluency of retrieval seems to function as a heuristic.
Until now, I thought 2 things limit it's effect: time and knowledge. Unfortunately, I learned that the phenomenon occurs even if people know it better. Even a month between fact communications does not eliminate it. 😔
