@z303 I think there are armoured versions of most premium brands. Partly because of their customer base, partly because it's very profitable and also because it's a willy-size display for their punters.
Am thinking of ordering one, obv.

@anon_opin the biggest problem was having an inept supine captured regulator OFWAT that sat on its hands instead of, you know, regulating. It allowed predatory investors to do a kind of asset stripping: load up with debt while diverting cash to themselves & investors.
Too late to claw back now 😥. As it is they’ll get a gold civil service pension and honours, not the jail they deserve.

@brianvastag @mikemccaffrey agree. Added to which they haven't unfairly crushed alternative products and locked you into theirs: you can take your files over to Jellyfin et. al. & use that c.f. Facebook etc.
Servers and developers cost money. They have a product that is better than the FLOSS alternatives.

Australia looks like selling our Jindalee over-the-horizon radar technology (JORN) to Canada, in a move that will likely upset Trump. The USA was originally going to be the customer, but Trump happened, so ...

The sale is worth $6 billion, on a roughly $1 billion investment cost, so not a bad return.

The UK might be sniffing around, too.
