@shamrockgenealogist Definitely Italian. These matches are on 23andMe and I have relatives on both my mom's and dad's side on there. They are only matching on my mom's side. There's also a cluster of Australian matches on MyHeritage that I'm looking into now. Suspect they may be connected to the 23andMe matches but not sure how yet.

I have #DNA matches in #Australia with no known connection to my relatives. I entered the matches into the #DNAPainter #WATO tool and it's suggesting the most likely common ancestors would be my 3rd-great-grandparents in #Italy. Will need to research my great-grandfather's cousins and their descendants. #genealogy
