@heliomass @anna_propriate reasonably sure they just use diesel/batteries at the moment. Though I’ve not ventured that way in a while.
@anna_propriate @heliomass Tyne and Wear metro is ohle, not third rail. It is different voltage to the national rail network

Did you know #OpenStreetMap can cover indoor areas too?
This is Gregory's attempt to map some of the rooms and corridors of Abertay University, which will host the #sotmeu25 conference next month.

He's used the "Simple Indoor Tagging" schema to describe the spaces, and it's being rendered by the "Indoor=" website.

A better and more complete example is the Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield. https://indoorequal.org/#map=16/53.41384/-1.41329&level=

We've also got the been told Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Inn may release their guaranteed rates for #sotmeu25 tonight. We're trying to extend that, as they've been the most popular through this portal: https://dacbres.bzon.uk/event/state-of-the-map-europe-14-15-november-2025/

Hey All - New Release Day!

We've pushed out v1.9.1, which incorporates a bunch of little bugfixes and nice to haves, along with fixing OTA updates and making them a little more resilient in future.

Because OTA is broken in current released versions (😢) you'll need to use the webflasher or CLI to update - instructions @ https://emfcamp.github.io/badge-2024-software/

Regular readers (do we have any 😉) ... May remember we had a "thing" we had hoped to have ready for @emf but sadly we weren't able to get it ready in time. Well today the thing made it's first appearance at the Airbus #Stevenage Fun day.
We present to you for your delictation and entertainment the GameBoy Monumental. The screen is made up of 48 500mm x 125mm/64 x 16 pixel RGB LED display panels arranged in a 1.5m tall 2m wide display. The individual LED modules were built in to 6 off 1m by 0.5m sub panels ( 2 x 500mm squares) with each sub panel driven by a #RaspberryPico I don't have all the details yet but will provide more soon. We have some development and build photos which I will post shortly. I suspect a full technical write up should appear on our website in due course. The panels are part of a batch of over 200 we were given by London Hackspace some years ago. #RaspberryPi #RetroGaming #GameBoy #Upscale #ThisWontFitInYourPocket
Hello! We are a small independent bookshop in Stow, in the Scottish Borders. We are no longer using Twitter, for obvious reasons, but could use some new followers on Mastodon and other social media channels - where our presence is smaller than on Twitter. Please help / share this is you can! Thank you.
