Question for any UK railway geeks!

North of Greater London & the Home Counties, there’s only two networks running on National Rail trackage which are third rail electrified: Merseyrail and The Tyne & Wear Metro.

Is this correct? I’m just sanity checking this fact, but I can’t think of any others.

@heliomass this feels like a @Garethness question
@anna_propriate @heliomass Tyne and Wear metro is ohle, not third rail. It is different voltage to the national rail network
@Garethness @anna_propriate Thanks, I missed that one! I didn’t know about the voltage difference. I wonder the shared section in Sunderland works though, or are the national rail services all diesel along that section?
@heliomass @anna_propriate reasonably sure they just use diesel/batteries at the moment. Though I’ve not ventured that way in a while.
