Hello,
I'm an amateur Linux fan boy and seasonal forager. I'm a professional merchant mariner and a full time wonderer (physically/mentally/spiritually).
I love being immersed in a good book but rarely find the time to read. I sometimes play computer games and I enjoy almost all forms of music (really, there's very little music I can't find some level of appreciation for, test me).
I am English residing in Finland.
I strive toward #LifeLongLearning
I'm no expert so take my advice with a dose of salt.
Consider Fedora. I've found it to be more stable and have more frequent updates. If you really want to get deep, check out the Arco Linux learning path, but I wouldn't recommend it as a starting point.
I am something of a FOSS evangelist but I am not and absolutist. I use Icedrive for cloud storage.
For mobile consider Lineage OS or Graphene OS, Linux mobile isn't quite ready imo.

I was hard-core solus for two years after I got sick of Ubuntu. I cannot fault the stability of solus, but the winds of change are in the air and I am looking arch-ways for the challenge. Though stability is something I quite enjoy so i'm considering fedora for my daily driver and arch (or more specifically Arco to begin with) on my older laptop.
P.S. the first few comments here had me laughing 😆
