In case you missed it, the birdsite has apparently banned posting links to Mastodon. Tried it myself and I can confirm, though I don't see the warning from the app; the tweet just doesn't show up after I send it. Links to instances without "mastodon" in the name, such as genomic.social, suffer the same fate.
@eric_normandeau I'd recommend Storygraph instead. It feels like the Mastodon of bookworm sites, to the Amazon-owned Goodreads πŸ˜‡

@maxvcg I suppose you're referring to the one that is actually played with the foot, right? 😜😜😜
#unpopularopinion I am not a big fan of #crossposting

With the Twitter reinstatement of the former US President who attempted to incite a fascist coup after losing an election, now would _really_ be a good time to stop cross-posting your Twitter RTs here.

If you feel that cross-posting is the only way to maintain a presence here, please consider limiting it to original posts without mentions or RTs, to avoid cluttering timelines with Twitter URLs. Thank you kindly for your consideration.

This site makes me feel guilty about the fact I didn’t let mastodons on the Ark.
@bensb Also over here! Thanks for live-tooting πŸ™Œ
