@Edent I also had 4 admin accts on all my sites -- randomly generated 8 char user accts with "example.com" email addresses. I also had a new plugin "Head, Footer, and Post Injection" (sounds bad, right?) show up on all my sites. All my stuff is up to date and patched. I did have one of the compromised plugins on one site (podpress) so maybe that was the backdoor but if so, it was a good one.
@Edent Thanks for sharing, especially the grep lookup. I got hit with this last week too. I have ~10 domains on HostGator, all different admin and db accounts, and all were compromised. I had "Core Functionality" on one (which seemed to append code to my functions.php) and two more plugins, "informative" and "custom-mail-smtp-checker".
I 3D printed a small stand for my iPhone, which according to me cost 30 cents to print, and according to my wife cost $600.30.
Is there a way here to import a list of all the people I muted on Twitter?

@designatednerd Imagine if it had changed it to Lennon.

"Imagine."

I am planning a Frenemiesgiving gathering so if you like me but also subtweet* about me DM me for the address.

(*Or subtoot.)

I tried following someone from another server and #Mastodon had me re-authenticate and then it had me cut/paste a URL into a window and maybe following someone on here shouldn't feel like I'm falling for every scammer trick?

@[email protected] Also, it would be more convenient if you could follow people without having to click away to their profile.

Oh, and trying to explain anything to another adult and using the word "toot" while keeping a straight face is difficult. Tough to imagine news reporters talking about people's toots.

@[email protected] The most difficult thing so far is finding people. For example, typing "retro" gives accounts that start with "retro" and hashtags that start with "retro" and says there are no posts on Mastodon containing the word "retro?" That doesn't seem right. Is that searching people's bios as well?
While on a road trip this summer I stopped by the Flatwoods Monster museum in WV. This is a police sketch -- to scale -- of what witnesses reported seeing in the woods. I wonder what was going through that sketch artist's mind while drawing this?
