@agatha I'm thinking that they're using 6.xx as a kind of reset. Our character is no longer the WoL, they're just an adventurer again. I'm thinking that it's something else that's going to happen.

But YoshiP has said that 7.0 will be "something that changes Eorzea forever", so, I've been thinking about this a lot.

If we go back two xpaks I'm thinking that it'll somehow be about Azem, but we'll see.

What are your card and settings?

On my 6900 XT I was able to set -6% power limit and mV to 1100 and this is stable for a few days now and runs buttery smooth, but I can't increase the max frequency.

Ironically (but no surprise I guess) I was able to set mV much lower for Cyberpunk 2077. That runs buttery smooth at 1050 mV with a -6% power limit, but FFXIV crashed the drivers at that mV.

I think that I even had my max frequency upped slightly to 2500 for that but can't quite recall.

@agatha What is it with void fiends and their hair 😁 (See: Weeping City of Mhach, Calofisteri).

You know, it took me like 5 years-ish, something like that, to win that minion drop. That's how infrequent I see that raid, and just had crap rolls on that drop. I didn't particularly want the minion, but I always kept it as a kind of joke regarding rolls because good gracious.

@NoFutureReyla I know a few trans ladies - and consider one to be family - and I have to agree, they're just the cutest company to have. 🥺

@agatha I think that it's more of a money thing. iOS users are accustomed to being fleeced & probably don't even realize it, paying money for everything and paying too much for basic stuff that's made proprietary just to fleece 'em. App devs can skip advertisements & charge up front.

Whereas on Android most things are free so there's massive competition. Open source OS, open standards (plugs, et al). A price tag is an automatic skip without a free version, & then a hard sell from the free app.
