my computer melting because i forgot to turn on the gpu undervolt
@agatha Melted GPU, toasty ☕
@natty typo... i meant undervolt, brain stopped working (also my config is both at once)
just edit the post

@agatha

What are your card and settings?

On my 6900 XT I was able to set -6% power limit and mV to 1100 and this is stable for a few days now and runs buttery smooth, but I can't increase the max frequency.

Ironically (but no surprise I guess) I was able to set mV much lower for Cyberpunk 2077. That runs buttery smooth at 1050 mV with a -6% power limit, but FFXIV crashed the drivers at that mV.

I think that I even had my max frequency upped slightly to 2500 for that but can't quite recall.

@Ezlin i have an undervolt setting but it's a curve adjustment, i have two settings, a more aggressive one, and a less aggressive
the more aggressive breaks some games
there is also a +1000Mhz memory clock setting
i checked here, it's 850mV to 1845 Mhz, and it flatlines after that, i did it following a guide on msi afterburner
@agatha Oh that's snazzy. Maybe I should try Afterburner at some point. I'm just using the drivers so there are no fancy options like the ability to set a curve.
@Ezlin (this is the less aggressive one, the aggressive is 1890 Mhz to 850 mV i think
