I haven't "left Twitter." I just don't want to keep using it while it's banning links to other sites. Plus given the way things are going, it seemed like a good time to learn more about Mastodon.

One thing I really miss about #Twitter on #Mastodon is collapsing of threads in the TL. Over here if someone's writing a long thread each tweet pops up individually and repeatedly. Twitter elegantly collapsing the thread for timeline display makes the experience nicer imo. #UX
Although some of the federted communities will also ban each other because of their polarized view, which makes a similar situation of quanrantine, but there are still different grey areas in it, some of the groups can stay in the middle and becomes a mid point for everyone.
it'd be better to have a federated network where members of different communities still have some ways to communicate with each other, rather than the situation like TruthSocial and twitter, or Reps. and Dems.
