Well got this at a market, anyone want to take a shot at identifying it? I know that its scientific name is incorrect, (one issue being the second part of the Latin name should not have uppercase and second being that this is an invalid species name) so would be nice to know its actual label and print it out.

Its an old world tarantula from what I can tell, likely from around Thailand.

Aaaand it happens, after my school delayed prom one too many times due to planning issues. Its finally ready right when I am over 2000km away.

Woke up to this smol dog sleeping with me. Even though she doesn't like it when I pet her for too long, she still tries to cuddle me in the middle of the night.

Was not expecting a visit from this tiny fellow. I usually just see them fly around me at night and sqeak about, not fly into my sister's room and make her fear the batcave.

Anyone have an idea what species they are?

(Also the bag they were in was not sealed, we released it right after getting it out of the house.)

I just remembered that I wanted to be a scientist when I was a litte kid and always wanted to try out some dangerous experiments in my own lab.

Well I found an old photo of my worksheet after an experiment exploded in the chemistry lab when I was 16, lets just say that I got my wish.

R.I.P Boiling tube, definitely a BANGer.
