Emotional Support Human for Ollie. Senior Gay. My toots consist of my artworks, my foibles, and things that I find interesting or beautiful.
I realised in my 30s that my emotions are decisions so I decide to be happy every day.
@elight I think NTs mask more than autists. Everything is performative, facade. I think it’s why autists do the same to fit. I think it is NTs that struggle with eye contact with autistics esp. bc we tend to be more authentic, see the fake, & it bothers them that their real face shows. So we stop looking at them to avoid danger we see. If we ask questions, or contradict them, they rage bc it’s an attack of the facade & ego. They are dependent on this facade. We are not, we hate it.
Five minutes on the live feed for this server and I reported four advertisement accounts. I don't have the patience to play whak-a-mole all day, it would be great if they weren't here to begin with

The last book I was able to read to the end was the Cher autobiography part 1, and that was a good two months ago. Every day I try to read, and my attention span is all over the place. It's frustrating, I have at least 15 books that I want to read and I don't seem to be able to still my mind enough to do it
So what do you think, would this be possible for a very tall person, or a very short person?
Does anybody else feel like an atheist in a 15th century monastery, abiding daily in capitalist realism? For my day job I constantly film corporate events and the like - and the whole kit and kaboodle is simulacra. Empty words dribbled by emptier people, to be consumed by empty listeners who must pretend to care about them. No less ludicrous and arbitrary than the rituals of a byzantine enclosed order.
I'm really not interested in most tech type stuff, it feels like math to me which is something I have an aversion to. If it's not something I can do with a couple of clicks I just don't care
